About Me
From Hair to Makeup
My career in hair started with a phone call I didn’t even take. At 16, my dad answered the phone and accepted a hairdressing apprenticeship for me. The next morning, I was at work. From that moment, I knew this path would shape my life.
Years later, before I had ever picked up a makeup brush, I said, “I want to be asked for by name.” Over a decade later, I moved into makeup, and for more than three decades, I’ve travelled the world, worked on fashion campaigns, and television shows like Dancing With The Stars, The Voice, and Big Brother — where I was the requested artist for the host — building long-term relationships with clients who trusted me with their hair, makeup, and confidence.
Behind the Scenes
From the outside, it all looked glamorous. But the industry can be brutal. As a freelancer, you have no safety net. I’ve walked away from professional relationships that had become abusive, and the silence from those who could have spoken up was deafening. These experiences changed me, my confidence, and my career — and ultimately taught me the importance of owning my power.
The Turning Point
Lockdown gave me the space to stop, heal, and reflect. In 2023, I began creating content for women over 40. Almost overnight, my tutorials went viral, reaching millions of women who were craving what I had been craving myself: to feel seen, represented, and empowered to show up for themselves.
And yes — to answer the whispers on the street — I am still working with clients.
The Over 40s Club
That was the beginning of The Over 40s Club. A space where women can learn, play, and unapologetically care about how they look and feel.
My truth is simple: don’t give away your power. Own it — in life, in love, and yes, even in lipstick.
